Description:

Amalaki is one of the key ingredients in Triphala churna which is a household medicinal formulation. Amalaki is helpful for a wide variety of health problems, improving healthy functioning of the liver, heart, brain, and lungs. It has multiple actions like anti-glycemic effect, antioxidants in it like vitamin-c etc., makes it a wonderful rasayana drug in Ayurveda. It is also the major ingredient in popular ayurvedic lehya named Chyavanaprasha.

Indications / Important therapeutic Uses:

Raktapitta, Amlapitta, Prameha, Daha, Tridoshajit, Vrshya, Rasayana, Cakshushya or as directed by the physician

Dosage / Methods of Use:

3-6 g of the drug in powder form or as directed by the physician.
